About Us

Intro

Technology investments shape operational performance and capital exposure for years – yet procurement and implementation processes frequently prioritize delivery convenience over ownership protection.

WiseTech exists to correct that imbalance.

We represent owners – not vendors.

Our Mandate

We ensure organizations receive exactly what they paid for, without overbuying, overspending or unnecessary risk.

Our work is independent, disciplined and aligned with long-term asset performance.

Our role is structured and deliberate:

  • Clarify technical scope before procurement
  • Monitor implementation against defined objectives
  • Reduce ambiguity in RFP and contract documentation
  • Strengthen governance beyond project completion

After 30 years in technology, focused on low voltage and delivery of services and solutions, Rob Welts founded WiseTech Advocates.

“Advocates” as we advocate for the communities that have many things to focus on that does not include being the expert in technology.

WiseTech was created to be the advocate on the side of the community. We exist to be your technical expert when it counts.

From beginning design through project acceptance and delivery.

About Rob Welts

Rob has consistently been “accused”
of caring too much about the customer. Proudly wearing that as a badge, he has also seen the trend reducing technical expertise at the community level, reducing the ability to properly vet and source solid solutions.

Stepping in that role, he relishes the opportunity to help the community exceed operational goals on budget.

Expertise and experience:

  • VP Operations – Unified Alerts
  • Sales Engineer and Strategic Accounts – Sage Technology Solutions
  • Designed/Built and supported global hosted telephony solution
  • Engineered some of the largest wireless call system solutions on the east coast
Rob

We operate within established project ecosystems — collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, system integrators and internal IT teams while remaining accountable solely to ownership.

We do not accept vendor incentives. We do not expand scope unnecessarily.

We protect intended outcomes.

Our approach is:

  • Independent

Free from vendor incentives or product alignment

  • Transparent

Ensuring clear documentation and decision visibility

  • Structured

Applying disciplined processes to planning, procurement and oversight

  • Capital-conscious

Focused on protecting ownership’s investment

Looking Ahead

As technology complexity continues to increase across asset classes, the need for owner-aligned oversight will only grow.

WiseTech is committed to building a firm defined by independence, clarity and disciplined accountability – ensuring organizations can invest in technology with confidence.
